David Reiss de Fez received the Telecommunication Engineer degree in July 2022 and the Master in Telecommunications Engineering in October 2024 from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain.

He joined the Signal Theory and Communications department in 2025 where, in co-supervision with the i2CAT Foundation, he is pursuing his doctoral thesis. The main topic is intelligent radio resource management. Concretely, applying AI algorithms to foster cost reduction, through energy saving policies, and revenue increase, through differentiated connectivity, in Beyond 5G and 6G RANs. Through his close collaboration with the i2CAT Foundation he has been involved in different European Projects.
