Vuk Marojevic received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Hannover, Germany, in 2003 and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in 2009. He has been actively involved in EU funded projects E2RII, Network of Excellence NEWCOM and two Spanish National Science Council (CICYT) projects under Grants TIC2003-08609 and TEC2006-09109. He spent the Fall Term 2007 at Wireless@Virginia Tech/MPRG, where he participated in the OSSIE project. His research efforts are on software-defined and cognitive radio architectures and algorithms for an efficient and flexible computing resource management. He is a member of the IEEE.
