Juan Sánchez-González received the Telecommunication Engineer degree in May 2002 and the Doctor Engineer in Telecommunication degree in December 2007 from the Universitat Politènica de Catalunya(UPC), Spain.

He joined the Signal Theory and Communications department in 2002 and is currently assistant professor in the Escola Politècnica Superior de Castelldefels (EPSC). His research interests are in the field of mobile communications systems, especially in Radio Resource Management in wireless networks, optimization of cellular systems and cognitive networks. He has been involved in different European Projects (ARROWS, EVEREST) as well as in projects for private companies (Telefónica).
